Dr. Arreola joined the faculty at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1983 as Chairman of the Department of Education. He taught courses in statistics, educational technology, college teaching techniques, and academic administrative leadership. He also served in several other administrative postions including,

• Director of Educational Technology
• Assistant Dean for Assessment (Pharmacy)
• Director of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment.

Dr. Arreola served as a training facilitator in the University of Tennessee Institute for Leadership Effectiveness from 1985 to 1995. Although retired from the University of Tennessee, Dr. Arreola continues to pursue an active consulting and writing career in the areas of faculty evaluation and faculty development.
