All patients are cared for by a single team which consists of the two attending staff physicians and the two residents. The care is given at two free-standing children's hospitals; LeBonheur Children's Medical Center as the main component and also as consultants at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In addition to this very active clinical environment, scholarly activities and research opportunities are provided ad encouraged, ad residents have been very productive in this regard over the years.
