Dr. Noe received his undergraduate degree from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and his medical degree from The University of Tennessee, Memphis, College of Medicine. He completed a one-year internship at the City of Memphis Hospital then completed a residency in general surgery at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. He completed a residency in urology at The University of Tennessee, Memphis, and completed a one-year fellowship in Pediatric Urology at the Hospital for Sick Children in London, England. Dr. Noe served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve for six years. He has been Chief of Pediatric Urology at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center since 1979 and also currently serves as Chief of Pediatric Urology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. He is a member of the American Urological Association, Southeastern Section of the American Urologic Association, the Southern Medical Association, the Tennessee Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. He is also a member of the Tennessee Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Tennessee Pediatric Society, and the International Pediatric Nephrology Association. Dr. Noe is a member of the Societe De'Urologe Internationale and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a full Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Urology Section. He is also a Fellow of the Society for Pediatric Urology and Served as its president from 1992 Ð 1993. He has served on the American Board of Urology Exam Committee and recently completed a tenure of the Editorial Committee of the Journal of Urology.
