The OpenSSH client is already installed with MacOS X. Just open a terminal window and use the 'ssh' command to connect. Unfortunately, a free gui interface is not available for the OS X client. Although, an excellent sharewhare product can be found at http://www.rbrowser.com.
There is a free open-source terminal SSH client for the Apple Macintosh PowerPC and 68K variants running at least MacOS version 7.5.1. It is NOT supported by Computing & Telecommunications. You can find more information at The MacSSH homepage.
