Application Process
The Saint Francis Family Medicine Residency program participates in the
National Residency Match Program (NRMP). Applications are made solely
through the Electronic Resident Application Service (ERAS) provided by the
Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). Written applications will
not be accepted. After we receive your application materials, a decision
will be made regarding personal interviews. We will contact qualified
applicants by phone and/or email to set up an interview sometime after October.

Required for interview:
- 3 letters of reference
- Dean's letter of reference
- medical school transcript
- USMLE Step 1 and 2 scores or COMLEX 1 and 2 scores.
- personal statement of your interest in family medicine
Ms. Priscilla Griffith is our residency coordinator and handles all
scheduling for interviews. She can answer any questions that you might
have.

International Medical Graduates Process
International
Medical Graduates (IMGs) are welcome to apply for residency at the Saint
Francis Family Medicine Program. We require the following
information and experience for consideration for an interview:
- Graduation from medical school in the last 3 years
- USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 scores 80 or greater
(2-digit)
- Clinical experience in the US for 6-12 months
- Permanent resident of the US (sorry no opportunities
for HB-1 or J-1 visas) with a valid work authorization
- Must have a valid ECFMG at the time of application
- All applications must go through ERAS and the NRMP

Advanced Women's Health Care Fellowship
- Graduation from an accredited Family Medicine Residency
- Significant obstetrical delivery experience
- Experience with vacuum and forceps deliveries
- Basic skills in obstetrical ultrasound
- Basic surgical skills
- Tennessee medical licensure
