Interviews
A visit to our program is required. We are proud of our residents, program, facilities and city and would like to share them with you. During the interview day you will meet with faculty and interns and residents, and will tour LeBonheur, St. Jude and the Newborn Center.
The night before your interview you will be invited to a dinner hosted by one of our pediatrics residents. This gives you a chance to talk to several of our interns and residents in a fun, informal setting. Transportation to and from the dinner will be provided.
The interview day will provide you with as much information about our program as possible while giving us an opportunity to get to know you
Hotel accommodations will be provided for the evening before you interview. Transportation from the hotel to our hospitals will be provided as well as your return to the hotel at the end of the interview day.
International Medical Graduates:
We do accept applications from international medical graduates. We have a large number of highly qualified applicants each year and are only able to consider the top international graduates.
Applications meeting the following criteria may be considered:
- a base level score of 85 or higher on USMLE Steps 1 and 2 on the first attempt
- pass CS portion on first attempt
- at least three months of post-graduate clinical experience in the U.S.
- J-1 visa only
- no more than 5 years since medical school graduation
