Mission: To collect, process, archive and distribute high quality human
tissue with relevant clinical data for research.
The Tissue
Services Core collects tissue that is not utilized for diagnosis and processes
it in a scientific manner so the tissue can be used, as required, for research.

After the tissue is used for evaluation, the rest
of the tissue that is not used for diagnosis is usually discarded. Tissue
Services Core (TSC) collects, processes, archives and distributes this tissue
to investigators for research.

TSC also
has archived formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue (FFPET) blocks for research
utilization.
