Biography:

Dr. Pamela Osborne received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. She completed her internship and pathology residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital. After completing board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology, she joined the faculty of the University of Tennessee in the department of pathology. Dr. Osborne has staff appointments at both the Regional Medical Center at Memphis and the William F. Bowld Hospital. She has served as Lab Director at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis, William F. Bowld Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, and Memphis Pathology Laboratory.

Research/Teaching Interests:

Dr. Osborne has interests in both laboratory accreditation and quality assurance. She has led numerous CAP inspection teams to both hospital and reference labs. She has been active in quality assurance activities at the Regional Medical Center and in the surgical pathology division of her department.
