Password Management for Exchange/NetID Password
Click here to Change or Reset Your Exchange Password
Changing your Exchange password will now change your Exchange password, your Blackboard password (beginning 11/11/09), and your NetID password (ECR password).
What is Exchange?
Exchange is our official campus collaboration system. Through Exchange customers can manage e-mail, as well as keep calendaring and contact information. Exchange allows customers to share these resources with other Exchange customers. The username is the same for NetID and Exchange e-mail. The password for Exchange must be changed every 180 days. Exchange passwords will get you into Exchange Web Mail (OWA), ILogin applications, and Oracle applications.
What is a NetID?
UTHSC faculty, staff and students don't use NetIDs nearly as much as we once did. Your NetID is only used when you go through IP registration, log into the Effort Certification (ECR) system, view pay statements, or use our Cisco VPN from outside the campus network. Most of the systems on campus will now accept your Exchange username and Exchange (e-mail) password for authentication.
