Principal Investigator of a program project entitled ‘Improving Function and Quality of Life in Head and Neck Cancer Patients’, funded by a grant from the Clinical Research Center at the Baptist Memorial Health Foundation.

Site Principal Investigator, Protocol IMCL CP02-9815: Randomized Phase III Trial to Compare Radiation Therapy Alone with Radiation Therapy and Concomitant Anti-EGFr Antibody (C225) for Locally Advanced Squamous Cell Carcinomas of the Head and Neck.

Evaluation of the efficacy of AD 32, a lipophilic derivative of adriamycin, in human squamous cell carcinoma cell lines using clonogenic assay. Experiments carried out in conjunction with the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, also included tests to assess drug-irradiation synergy in wild type and cisplatin resistant cell lines. August 1995 to present.
