Terry Canale, MD, Chair of the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic
Department of Orthopaedics. Also President of Campbell Foundation, Dr. Canale is
a former president of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and holds the
Harold B. Boyd, MD Professorship in Orthopaedic Surgery. Specializing in
Pediatric Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Canale joined the Campbell
Clinic staff in 1974 and was Chief of Staff from 1993 until 2001. He is Chief of
Pediatric Orthopaedics at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center and serves on the
Board of Directors of the Regional Medical Center. Dr. Canale is Co-Director of
the Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship at UT-Campbell Clinic, Editor of
Campbell's
Operative Orthopaedics, and Co-Editor of Operative Pediatric Orthopaedics. He
completed his orthopaedic residency at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia
and was selected as a Berg-Sloat Traveling Fellow. Dr. Canale graduated from UT
Medical School and earned a BS from the University of Virginia.
