Inactive Nurses: A Source for Alleviating the Nursing Shortage? (2004)My Current Activities
I currently instruct of both undergraduate and graduate level courses. Specifically, I co-teach the didactic section of the undergraduate psychiatric clinical rotation of the accelerated BSN program. I also teach a section of research for the undergraduate nursing students. On the graduate level, I am responsible for coordinating my clinical group of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner students through their clinical rotations. I also assist with teaching didactical courses in the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Track.
Short-term Plans for the Future
I am currently working on getting my dissertation work published.
Long term plans for the future
To assist in the development of a Doctorate level nursing program at the University of South Alabama. I would also like to continue my research into nursing workforce issues.
