Mrs. Teresa Britt completed her Masters of nursing at UTHSC in 1986. She has taught in nursing education for 26 years, joining the UT College of Nursing faculty in June, 2005. She is currently the Director of the Nursing Laboratory and Clinical Assessment and facilitates all the clinical skills simulation labs for the entry into practice program. She is the University of Tennessee College of Nursing Faculty Counselor for Sigma Theta Tau, Beta Theta at Large chapter. She is an active member on the membership board of the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning as well as editorial reviewer for the online journal for this organization. She is also a member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. Her interests include clinical simulation and patient safety.
