The College of Nursing offers four Distinguished Visiting Professorships a year.  Most of the time, the lectures are scheduled during student “on-campus” time.  These events are provided at no cost.  However, participants who wish to obtain continuing education contact hours must submit a $10.00 fee the day of the event.  It is imperative that everyone register by the deadline determined for each conference.  Even though students are required to attend and we expect all students to attend, we need everyone to register to ensure that we have sufficient food and handout materials.  The registration deadline to attend this conference is JULY 17th.

The July 2008 Elinor F. Reed Distinguished Visiting Professorship is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Botanic Garden located at 750 Cherry Road at 5:00pm.  Directions can be found on the registration website.  A reception including live entertainment and a cash bar will begin immediately following the presentation.  This will provide an excellent opportunity for students and faculty to network.
