Directions

The College of Nursing Administrative offices are located in the Lamar Alexander Bldg. 6th floor. 16 on the map.

If you're headed east -- coming from the direction of West Memphis, Arkansas (this route also applies to persons who would be coming south from the direction of St. Louis, Missouri on I-55 South):

  1. Take I-40 East.
  2. After crossing the bridge over the Mississippi River and arriving in Memphis, take the I-40 East / I-240 South / MADISON AVENUE exit towards Nashville / Jackson, Mississippi.
  3. Keep right at the fork in the ramp (bearing South).
  4. Continue right at the fork in the ramp (bearing West) and turning onto Madison Avenue.
  5. The College of Nursing is approximately 2 blocks west on Madison Avenue, on the south side of the street.

If you're headed west -- coming from the direction of Nashville, Tennessee:

  1. Take I-40 West.
  2. Take the I-40 West exit, exit number 10B that goes to the right.
  3. Continue on I-40 as it loops around the northern border of Memphis.
  4. Take the Madison Avenue exit, exit number 30, that is immediately after I-40 goes to the right toward Arkansas.
  5. Keep right at the fork in the ramp (bearing West) and turning onto Madison Avenue.
  6. The College of Nursing is approximately 2 blocks west on Madison Avenue, on the south side of the street.

If you're headed north -- coming from the direction of Jackson, Mississippi:

  1. Take I-55 North.
  2. When I-55 intersects with I-240 North, stay straight to go onto I-240 North.
  3. Take the UNION AVENUE exit, exit number 30, taking the Union Avenue WEST ramp.
  4. Merge onto Union Avenue.
  5. Turn right (north) at Pauline Street, the first stoplight after merging onto Union Avenue.
  6. Turn left (west) on Madison Avenue, the second stoplight on Pauline Street.
  7. The College of Nursing is approximately 1 block west on Madison Avenue, on the south side of the street.

Parking

Parking is available in the GEB Parking Garage which is 15 on the map.
