Students can receive this award even if they already have a NRSA from NIH. Students who already have a NIH NRSA can request a maximum of $20,000 instead of $40,000. Those who are seeking this award without a current NRSA can request up to $40,000 in support. The application is limited to students in research doctoral programs. The RFP includes a description of covered topical areas.

Building Academic Geriatric Nursing Capacity (BAGNC)

The American Academy of Nursing seeks applicants for its Building Academic Geriatric Nursing Capacity (BAGNC) Claire M. Fagin Fellowship Program. The Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation is excited to offer new scholarships and awards. These are available to graduate students and practicing nurse practitioners.

Ruth Landes Memorial Research Fund - Grants for Individuals

Submission deadline: N/A

Awards range from $10,000 to $60,000 per year, and may be used for research, including field studies, and related expenses, including travel (where appropriate) and living costs over the period covered by the Landes Grant. Senior scholars may request stipends based on their previous year’s salary and professional standing. Applications for multiyear grants will be considered.

Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN)

This program provides fellowships in areas of national need to assist graduate students with excellent academic records who demonstrate financial need and plan to pursue the highest degree available in their courses of study at the institution.
