PLEASE NOTE |

You may not
become a graduate student in the Department of Microbiology
& Immunology through the Interdisciplinary Program of
the College of Graduate Health Sciences. Our students select their
research advisor at the end of the first semester, and complete most of
their course work by the end of the first
year. This promotes a timely completion of their degree program. We are
unable to successfully meet both
the interdisciplinary and departmental requirements without increasing the
student's time commitment to their degrees. Because you may apply to only
a single program on campus, we hope this note will help avoid any confusion
that might otherwise occur in making your choice.
