NEW 7/5/07: new layout! med-peds interns! new links (check dropdown menus above)! The Med-Peds Residency Program at UT Memphis began training physicians in the combined disciplines of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 1982, and since that time has trained over 150 board eligible / board certified Internists/Pediatricians who serve throughout the United States and abroad. Today, UT Memphis Med-Peds is one of the largest residency programs of its kind, with 8-11 intern positions filled each year. Med-Peds residents at UT Memphis enjoy a dynamic and challenging curriculum, a wide variety of pathologies at a number of hospitals, and hands-on experience in all clinical fields. The pediatrics and internal medicine departments at UT offer the Med-Peds residents many opportunities for the pursuit of individual goals, such as research or subspecialty training.
