Welcome to Memphis and to The University of Tennessee Health Science
Center, the city's only downtown university, which is located at the
very heart of the Memphis medical center. These are exciting times
on the campus of the Health Science Center, perhaps the most
exciting since our establishment in Memphis in 1911. Formed by the
consolidation of five medical schools and schools of dentistry and
pharmacy, our current enrollment is approximately 2,000 students,
who study in various disciplines and sub-disciplines of allied
health sciences, health science engineering, dentistry, graduate health
sciences, medicine, nursing and pharmacy.

A metropolitan university with more 8,300 students and
eight colleges and schools.
Located in northwest Tennessee, with an enrollment of
more than 5,800; offers bachelor's degrees in 80
fields as well as master's degrees.
