Strong and Active alumni programs serve 32,000 graduates. Approximately 50
programs, reunions and special events are organized annually for the UT Health
Science Center graduates.
UT Health Science Center's programs would not be successful without the support
of Alumni and Friends. Private giving to UT Health Science Center exceeded $15.5
million in 1999-2000. UT Health Science Center's total endowment is
approximately $167 million and includes 42 endowed professorships, of which 19
are Chairs of Excellence funded jointly by private gifts and by the State of
Tennessee.
