The Office of Audiovisual and Classroom Services is a service
to assist faculty with equipment to facilitate their lectures/presentations.
This office is also contacted when there is a problem with the
physical environment of the assigned space for a course.
Services Provided:
Assess the working order of classrooms (including chalkboards,
projection screens, TV monitors, etc.)
Provide speedy remedies for urgent classroom deficiencies
such as locked doors, broken seating or chalkboards.
Refer complaints about classrooms to the Classroom Scheduling
Office and make sure that problems are resolved in a timely
manner.
Make sure that the environmental conditions (heating
and cooling) of classrooms are kept in optimum condition, reporting
any problems to the Physical Plant.
Maintains the natural order and cleanliness of classrooms.
Maintain and monitor all AV equipment and operate the
checkout system to university faculty.
