The Training Calendar has a listing of all the various
classes with times and locations that are available for credit towards the 32 annual
training hours required for each UTHSC employee.

HR 128 (Training Policy)
As a result of employee feedback from the Employee Satisfaction Survey, the university revised its
Human Resources Development policy HR0128 to encourage supervisors and managers to plan for 32 hours
of professional development every year for faculty and staff as part of an overall career development
plan, including conferences and programs both outside and within the university.
Faculty and staff are the university's most valuable resource. Investing in professional development
