Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible spending accounts allow the employee to set aside pre-tax dollars for qualifying medical and/or dependent care expenses.  Claims for reimbursement must be submitted to the insurance office no later than the 10^th of each month.  It is recommended that the amount allocated is carefully planned as money not claimed will be forfeited.  Re-enrollment is required in order to continue with the plan each year.
