Flexible Spending Accounts

 

Flexible spending accounts allow the employee to set aside pre-tax dollars for qualifying medical and/or dependent care expenses.  Claims for reimbursement must be submitted to the insurance office no later than the 10th of each month.  It is recommended that the amount allocated is carefully planned as money not claimed will be forfeited.  Re-enrollment is required in order to continue with the plan each year.
