Microsoft Agreement
UT has procured a Microsoft Campus Enterprise Agreement for Microsoft Office 2007 for Windows, Office 2008 for Macintosh, and Windows Vista operating systems. The University will distribute these products for use by faculty and staff on University owned computers at no charge to departments. See our Microsoft agreement page for more information.

Never give your e-mail password to anyone- especially via e-mail. Our ITS department will never ask you for your e-mail password.
The Help Desk is a focal point for computing needs on the university's campus. Our goal is to provide users with up-to-date information on common technical problems in a courteous and efficient manner. Call 448-2222 or visit us at the Lamar Alexander Building for quick, precise, and courteous assistance.
The Helpdesk can work on faculty and staff computer equipment that is currently owned by departments within the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. We provide free computer diagnosis and repair services to currently enrolled UTHSC students.
Whenever you contact us, please have the following information ready:
- Your Full Name and your phone number.
- The nature of your problem.
- What are you trying to accomplish? What exactly is happening (or not happening)?
- Make a note of any error message you receive.
- Operating System that you are using? (Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Macintosh)

VPN for offsite access to UTHSC network resources
