Health Works clients participate in health promotion session

The Health Works program is one of four subcontractors of Structured Employment Economic Development Corporation (Seedco). The mission of the Health Works program is to provide participants with quality services that empower and equip clients with knowledge, skills and resources to enhance their lifestyle through viable employment. As a subcontractor the UTHSC Health Works program provides several service components for Families First participants referred by Seedco. These services include comprehensive career and health risk assessments, job training, development, and placement, and work experience/community services assignments. UTHSC Health Works is the only agency that incorporates health promotion and risk reduction interventions into its program model. These activities are designed to ensure that recipients become self sufficient.
