Welcome to the General Stores Website!
General Stores was established as a ready source of laboratory supplies for teaching
and research and has now expanded to Apple computer sales and a small
line of office supplies. In accordance with UT Memphis policy, General
Stores is a self-supporting, non-profit facility.
Items are purchased in quantities sufficient to receive maximum
discounts, allowing us to pass the savings on to our customers.
Purchases are made at the best possible prices. Items are resold
at a cost plus percentage factor, established by the Administration,
to produce a break even situation. (Example: most chemicals sell
for 50% below list price; other items carry no saving other than
the saving of time and obvious convenience factor.)
General Stores is here for your convenience. Our goal is your satisfaction.

Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
