Department of Family Medicine

Our department consists of three training sites located in Memphis, Jackson and Covington.  Our residency programs have a long tradition of training compassionate, full service family physicians with a special emphasis on women’s health and rural medicine.  Our graduates serve in all types of practice settings to include academic medical centers.  We are very proud of the fact that over 65% of our graduates are in active practice in several locations across the great State of Tennessee.  This web site was designed for medical students, residents, faculty, practicing physicians and patients.  See the options below to learn more about our outstanding student, resident, and fellow training programs or how to access our patient care facilities if you are a patient.  We want everyone to have the best experience when accessing our educational or patient care programs.  We are proud to serve you!
