DEPARTMENT OF ORTHODONTICS. April 16, 2008 (Updated: August 18, 2008) The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Orthodontics. This is a tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Responsibilities will include administration, both undergraduate and post-graduate teaching, and research. Faculty practice is available. Minimally, applicants must have a dental degree, ADA accredited training in orthodontics, American Board of Orthodontics certification or board eligibility status, and research interests. DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY AND COMMUNITY ORAL HEALTH. DIVISION OF COMMUNITY ORAL HEALTH. April 10, 2008 (Updated: September 12, 2008) TENNESSEE - Community Oral Health. The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as Director of the Division of Community Oral Health in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Oral Health. The division is responsible for instruction in dental public health, behavioral science, literature evaluation, practice management, dental ethics and dental jurisprudence. Primary responsibilities include providing classroom instruction for pre- and postdoctoral students, scholarly and service activities, and the development, implementation and coordination of planned community-based educational and clinical experiences. The position is available immediately. The ideal candidate will have clinical practice and teaching experience with demonstrated communication and leadership skills. DEPARTMENT OF ENDODONTICS AND OPERATIVE DENTISTRY, DIVISION OF ENDODONTICS, OCTOBER 15, 2007 (PIN 18536) (Updated: August 18, 2008) The Department of Endodontics and Operative Dentistry, Division of Endodontics is recruiting for a full-time, tenure track faculty position. Responsibilities include didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical undergraduate teaching, continuing education, and research. Teaching experience is preferred; DDS or DMD is required. Rank and salary commensurate with experience. Candidates should have completed advanced training in Endodontics and be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Endodontics and be eligible for an educational license in the State of Tennessee. Participation in continuing education and research is mandatory. Intramural faculty practice is available. The search will remain open until the position is filled by a qualified candidate.
