Clerical/Accounting

The DCM office is staffed by four clerical/accounting personnel, one who is a full-time administrative assistant for IACUC.
 

*Ms. Joyce D. Jones - Business Manager-Associate of Science degree, Banking and Finance Technology, State Technical Institute, Memphis.  Ms. Jones has been with the department since August 1990.  She is responsible for the financial and administrative management of the day-to-day operation of the department. 

Ms. Eloise Tate - Sr Budget Assistant. Ms. Tate was trained at University of Memphis and South West TN College. She has been with UT for 18 years, but she has been in the DCM for the past three years. Eloise assists investigators complete their animal orders\requisitions and communicates with clients and vendors to make the DCM billing\ordering process go as smoothly as possible.
 

Ms. Mary Tunstall - Data Integrity. Ms Tunstall was trained at the University of Memphis and Shelby State Community College. Though she has only been with the DCM for 11 months, she has been a part of the UT family for 11 years. Mary ensures that material to be entered into the DCM computer system is properly prepared and maintained.
 

Ms. Judy Farmer - Medical Research Protocol Coordinator for the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee. Ms. Farmer initially joined UT as an Administrative Services Asst. in the Cardiology Dept. in 1980. In October of 2000, she came to the DCM. She assures that the animals are appropriately and humanely used and cared for. She is responsible for the coordination, execution, and documentation of operational procedures essential to maintaining University compliance with the USDA, PHS, and AAALAC regulations. Ms. Farmer also coordinates the IACUC's functions and is responsible for keeping the committee informed of regulation updates and changes as they occur. She also prepares IACUC evaluation reports and submits them to the Institutional Official.  Effective May 20, 2002 Judy has relocated to 910 Madison, Suite 917.
