Carolyn Moffitt is the Compliance/Privacy Officer of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center located in Memphis, Tennessee. Carolyn has been in her current position for three of her 38 years experience in healthcare financial and administrative activity in the healthcare industry. Before joining the University she was employed by The MED for 28 years in patient financial services, budget, fixed assets management, reimbursement, charge master, and general accounting functions. The remainder of her career involved patient financial service management of Radiology Billing for UT Medical Group.

Carolyn is active in the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) having served as president of the Tennessee Chapter during 1999-2000. She is holds an HFMA certification as a Healthcare Financial Professional and is a Fellow of HFMA. Carolyn is a currently serving a three year term on the Compliance Officers Forum Advisory Council for the National Office. She is a graduate of the University of Memphis.
