UT Online Computing Calendar Services

Compact Version and Detailed Version

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students:

UT Health Science Center now offers an online publishing tool for campus events and schedules - the UT Online Calendar, developed by the Computing Systems Group in the Computing & Telecommunication Department. This calendaring system based on Corporate Time Calendar technology.

The UT Online Calendar provides great potential to help colleges, departments and groups in UT Health Center to manage, publish and retrieve schedules for events as well as information for academic, research and student administration purposes.

Display Format

There are two display formats to choose from: the Compact Version and the Detailed Version. (Please click links for demonstration.) More customized formats may be provided if needed.

Access Control

The online calendar is set to free access for the public. If necessary, a password locked, secure calendar can be developed for specific needs.

Client for easy management

The input and management console is available for Windows and Macintosh.

Recommended Browser

UT Online Calendar is compatible with both Netscape and Internet Explore. But we highly recommend Internet Explorer version 5 or higher for best results.

Training

The UT Online Calendar is easy and user friendly. If required, a short training class can be provided to the account manager for each account.

Utilizing the UT Online Calendar will improve efficiency and information sharing for our students, faculty, and staff.

We encourage every college, department and user group within UT Health Science Center to add your events or schedules for online use.

For calendar account creation and policies, questions, or problems please contact calendar.utmem.edu. For other web information please email webmaster@utmem.edu.

Thanks !
