The University of Tennessee Health Science Center is part of the statewide,
multi-campus University of Tennessee. As a public, land grant university,

As the Universitys academic health science center, the mission of The
University of Tennessee Health Science Center is to improve human health
through education, research and public service, with an emphasis on improving
the health of Tennesseans.
Located on the campus of the UT Health Science Center are the School of Biomedical
Engineering and Colleges of Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry, Graduate Health Sciences,
Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Social Work.
The University serves as the educational and research hub of one of the
national oldest and largest medical centers. Each of the professional
colleges or programs is accredited by the appropriate agency for the
profession or program.
