    The most encouraging news we can tell you is that God loves you.   He loves you so much that He allowed Christ to die for you some 2000 years ago.   If you don't have a relationship with God, you can.  The plan of salvation is outlined below.  All of our members will tell you:  it WILL make a difference in your life!  Please contact us if we may be of assistance to you. 

All Have Sinned   
    for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God     -Romans 3:23
    We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way    -Isaiah 53:6

Sins Penalty   
    For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord    -Romans 6:23
    Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgement     -Hebrews 9:27

Christ Paid the Penalty   
    But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us                     -Romans 5:8
    For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God    -1 Peter 3:8

Salvation Not by Works   
    For it is by grace you have been saved, though faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.     -Ephesians 2:8-9
    he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.  He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit...    -Titus 3:5

Must Receive Christ   
    Yet all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God                 -John 1:12
    Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.     -Revelation 3:21

Assurance of Salvation   
    I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.    -1 John 5:13
    I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.     -John 5:24

Rejoice in the Lord always.   I will say it again:  Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all.   The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.    -Philippians 4:4-8

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.     -Jeremiah 29:11-13

...he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.     -Philippians 1:6

I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.    -Jeremiah 31:25

The following are exerts from the Friday Guest Lecture Series with David Wright, MD.   Certainly those who heard him speak were encouraged as he shared key Biblical passages that helped him during his life as an internist.

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask in prayer    -Matthew 21:22

Have I not commanded you?   Be strong and courageous.  Do not be terrified;  do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.    -Joshua 1:9

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:  If one falls down, his friend can help him up.  But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!  Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.  But how can one keep warm alone?   Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.    -Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.    -Proverbs 27:17

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.    -Proverbs 19:21

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.   -Proverbs 15:22

Listen to advice and and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.    -Proverbs 19:20

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man.  And God is faithful;  he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.  But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.    -1 Corinthians 10:13

Do not wear yourself out to get rich;  have wisdom to show restraint.  Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.     -Proverbs 23:4-5

If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.  If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.   To him be the glory and power for ever and ever.  Amen    -1 Peter 4:11
