Kathryn Richards assists the Scientific Director and Director of Finance in evaluation of laboratory space and equipment needs for the DepartmentofPediatricsand the Children’s Foundation Research Center. She is responsible for procurement of new equipment and instruments, analysis of needs for space and equipment, bid solicitation from vendors, installation and maintenance of equipment, and training laboratory personnel on new and existing instruments. She also assists with experimental design and problem solving for laboratory procedures using core equipment and space.
