Clinical/Research Interests:
Interventional cardiology, IVUS, stents, critical care.
Coronary collateral circulation, ventricular pressure/volume relationships and left ventricular function in diabetes mellitus, beta-blockade in congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation, revascularization in unstable angina, and risk factors for coronary disease and cardiac function in muscular dystrophy.  Investigator in several major VA clinical trials.
