Clinical/Research Interest:
Insulin and lipid responses to treatment with gemfibrozil or nicotinic acid in persons with hyperinsulinemia. His planned research will focus on insulin responses in hypertensive persons treated with diuretics and other anti-hypertensive drugs. He is also involved in teaching physical exam skills including auscultation to fellows and residents.
