THE MED logo

The Regional Medical Center (aka The MED) is a tertiary referral center as well as one of the busiest trauma centers in the nation. Cardiology provides coverage for both a CCU service as well as a lively consultative service. It was home to the first cardiac cath lab in the city and continues to provide an excellent teaching base for fellows, residents, and students.
