Staff Development and Training
Annually we hold a training session for staff development. Everyone is expected to attend. There are two purposes of these sessions. Training everyone on the policies and procedures that regulate the Office of Campus Recreation and building a staff that will work together as a team. How do we do this? We are Campus Recreation, therefore, we play games and enjoy the environment that we have chosen for the training. We get to know each other and have fun, cook out, canoe, hike, or whatever the agenda calls for. Of course there are the manuals for staff development and training that are an on going process that never ends if you want a program to succeed and expand.p
