Karate
Dr. Mitchell Watsky, 7th degree black belt, has studied under the renowned 10th
degree black belt and Grand Master Taika Seiya Oyata for over 23 years. Dr.
Watsky is the only instructor to teach Taika Oyata’s family system in the Mid
South. This class focuses on self defense and is open to novice students, men
and women. Interested persons are welcome to view an ongoing class prior to
registering. Minimum age is 16 years.
Cost:
Introductory Price $35.00
Students/Members $55.00
You must be a Fitness Center Member to participate
Classes: Feb 27th - April 12th
Kayak Roll Class
No experience necessary Class size is limited. All equipment included (kayak,
paddle, spray skirt etc...)
You may want to buy a pair of nose plugs.

$5 for 3rd class
4th class is free
Non Members
$25 for 1st class
$20 for 2nd class

Ballroom Dance

Registration
Sign ups must be made in person in the Student Recreation Center during normal
business office hours. Student workers are permitted to take the name and phone
number of interested persons but may not reserve a spot in a class. A Campus
Recreation representative will contact interested persons to arrange sign up.
Business Office hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
8:30 AM to 11:00 AM & 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Friday
8:00 AM to 11:00 AM & 11:30 PM to 4:00 PM
NO RESERVATIONS
All fees are due at sign-up. Names will not be added to the class roster until
all fees are collected
REFUND POLICY
Requests for refunds must be made through the Business Office during normal
hours. An authorized refund form will be submitted to the UT Accounting Office
within 24 hours, or the next business day, once a student has withdrawn.
The Office of Campus Recreation cannot make "on the spot" refunds.
- Withdraw before the first class meeting - Full refund less a $10.00
administrative charge.
- Withdraw after the first class, but before the second class - 70%
refund.
- Withdraw after the second class - No refunds will be given
