Joint Program in Biomedical Engineering

urrently we have 62 graduate students and 36 faculty and staff in the joint program. The faculty is vigorously engaged in research programs funded by the federal government, research foundations, and local and national industry. Our graduates have gone on to many prestigious institutions including Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, Duke University, the University of North Carolina, Mayo Clinic, NASA, and to many of the leading industrial and academic institutions in the nation. In general, job prospects and salaries in biomedical engineering are excellent.
