BMES 2007-2008 Officers |

There were three candidates for three open positions for the BMES student chapter offices, therefore there is no need for elections. Your new BMES student chapter's officers for 2007-2008 are:
Leslie Hunt (President)
Vinay Bhal (Vice President)
Heather Doty (Secretary/Treasurer)
Also, please remember that they need to renew the student chapter by April 1, 2007 and they need at least 10 students in the joint program who are currently BMES members. If you are a BMES member, please let your new officers know as soon as possible. Also if you intend to become a BMES member before March 31st, please inform your officers about your intention (and of course don't forget to do it by March 31st!) |

BMES student chapter election |

It's time to renew our BMES student chapter. It means we need to elect our new BMES officers. You can nominate yourself for (up to) three positions: President, Vice President, or Secretary.
If you would like to be a BMES student chapter officer, please contact Bahram Dahi by Monday March 26, 2007. If there are more than one candidates for a specific position, an election will be held on Tuesday March 27, 2007. The elected officers will then renew the BMES student chapter by April 1st.
This is also a good opportunity, especially for new students, to get involved in a student society and help the BME students to stay connected to themselves and the outside world (faculty, industry, ...) This is our little community; keep it alive. |

UT GSEC Dinner Party |

What: FREE dinner for Graduate Health Students and can food drive!
When: Thursday, Nov. 9th, 7:00pm
Where: Silky O¿Sullivan¿s on Beale St.
Why: Just to be social! And to collect can goods in time for Thanksgiving.
IMPORTANT: Please bring your UT student ID along with 2 cans of food
*Buffet will be served with items available to make mini-BBQ sandwiches or BBQ nachos
*Soft drinks included ¿ alcohol not included
*Entertainment provided by Silky¿s

According to the Cashiers Office, you must submit your fee sheets by June 30th. Don¿t forget to take a copy of the sheet to Ms. McGee.
In the event that you do not receive one in the mail, please go directly to the Cashiers office before June 30th to be in compliance.
