Professional Programs

The BCDD training focuses not only on direct services but also on leadership in advocacy, ethics, reseach, and systems change.

Students from a variety of disciplines and universities come to the BCDD for observation or specific training purposes. Each year approximately 250 students complete training at the Boling Center, 18 to 25 of whom are long-term trainees/fellows.

Audiology

Audiology Traineeship

A paid traineeship is available for two Graduate level students in audiology. Audiology trainees spend 10-20 hours per week at the Center assessing children’s hearing abilities and serving on the interdisciplinary evaluation teams.

 

All trainees and the fellow are supervised by certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. To download an application for a traineeship or fellowship, click here to view critera and details.
