Developmental Pediatrics Clinic

About the Clinic

The University of Tennessee Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities Developmental Pediatrics Clinic offers consultations for a variety of known or suspected developmental problems. Appointments may also include evaluations by other professionals in an interdisciplinary team approach.

Developmental Problems Addressed

Questions about developmental delay, poor school performance, and behavior problems are frequently addressed in the Developmental Pediatrics Clinic.

Consultations are provided for children with cerebral palsy, autism, and multiple disabilities.

Assessments are individualized based on the specific concerns of the parent, guardian, or referring physician.

The comprehensive assessments may include a review of pertinent medical and developmental history, a medical examination, and developmental testing.

Training
