Adding Instructors

You can add as many faculty/course administrators as you'd like to. These users will have access to the Control Panel and will be able to access the sections that you would like for them to access. There are different kinds of users in a Blackboard course site:

Student: User is able to access all available course content and will be graded on assessments.

Instructor: User is able to control all aspects of the course through the Instructor Control Panel.

Teacher's Assistant: User is able to control most aspects of the course through the Instructor Control Panel. A Teacher's Assistant cannot access Course Marketing.

Grader: User is able to access all areas under Assessments.

Course Builder: User is able to add content to the course through the Content Areas and the Course Tools on the Instructor Control Panel.

To add the user to your course, log in to your course and go to CONTROL PANELO>User Management. If the user does not have a Blackboard account, click on the Create User link. If s/he does already have an account, click on Enroll User. (If you're not sure, do a quick check under Enroll  User!). If you create the user account, be sure to notify her/him of his username and password... and PLEASE use their NetID (which you can find by clicking here).
