Meet the Vice Chancellor
Linda Garceau-Luis, MBA, MA
Linda Garceau-Luis, MBA, MA, is the vice chancellor for Development and Alumni Affairs for the University of Tennessee Health
Science Center. As vice chancellor, Garceau-Luis serves as the chief development officer for UTHSC. While her office is located
on the main campus in Memphis, Tennessee, she works with development and alumni initiatives in Chattanooga and Knoxville as well.
Linda provides leadership and coordination for all private fundraising at UTHSC which includes development and alumni activities
involving senior leadership and the deans of our six colleges.
Prior to joining UTHSC, Garceau-Luis formed her own consulting firm and advised non-profits on all aspects of development including
planned giving and capital campaigns. From 1991 to 2001, she served as the Director of Planned and Major Gifts for Vanderbilt
University Medical Center. Prior to that, she directed and supervised major and capital gifts for State University of New York
at Binghamton and Dartmouth Medical School.
Garceau-Luis earned her master’s degree from Dartmouth College and her MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management
at Vanderbilt University.
