Physical Therapy Graduate Program Expenses$293.00 per semester hour (2 semester hours minimum). An average load for the par-time student is 5-6 semester hours per semester.$2346 per semester for full-time students. A minimum load for a full-time student is 9 semester hours per semester. Out-of-State $542 per semester hour in addition to the in-state tuition for part-time students. Full-time non-resident students are required to pay $4332.00 in addition to the full-time in-state tuition. Other Costs Enrollment Fee $150.00 payable at Admission. This is applied to Fees at Registration Travel To and from Memphis. Some courses may be conducted via telecommunications or be web-based. Malpractice Insurance Annually, students enrolled in the Graduate Program are assessed $25 for malpractice insurance. This insurance covers the student for activities performed under the auspices of University of Tennessee. Although students may have other malpractice insurance, it may not apply to their student activities, so all students are assessed this additional fee. Student Health Insurance All enrolled students may enroll themselves and their dependents in Student Health Insurance offered by the University of Tennessee (www.utmem.edu/univheal/index3.html). However, those students who already have satisfactory health insurance are asked to submit to the Office of Student Affairs an insurance verification form and copy of an insurance card each semester. If these documents are not submitted, the student will be assessed additional fees for student health insurance. These fees may be >$950 per year.
