Attention Pediatric Occupational Therapy Practitioners

We Need YOUR Insight…Please take our survey

Survey of the Need for Qualitative Assessment of Children’s Hands Skills

We, Lucretia Davis, Katrina Grubb, and Emily Lowe, are occupational therapy graduate students at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center studying under the supervision of Anita Mitchell, MS, OTR and Valerie Pieraccini, OTR.  We are conducting a survey as part of a research study designed to help determine the need for a qualitative hand skill assessment of children from birth to six years of age. This survey will help gather information regarding the assessments currently in use and the skills being assessed in children who present with fine motor and hand skill difficulties. We would also like to determine how satisfied you are with options that are available to you for hand skill assessments. This study involves answering a series of 19 questions and should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Participation in this survey is voluntary and failure to participate will not adversely affect participants, as there are no risks involved.  We value your opinion and greatly appreciate the information you will provide by completing this survey. Thank you for your participation.

Please click on the following link to complete the survey on or before Sunday April 1, 2007.
