Why I chose UT-Jackson: UTFP in Jackson was my #1 choice from the beginning: great people, great program, great town.
What I want people to know about me: Let's leave some bit of mystery, shall we?

Hobbies: Flag football, playing drums and guitar, gardening, camping, going out with my wife, playing with my kids, etc.
What I did before medical school: Served a two-year mission for my church in Portugal and the Cape Verde islands in West Africa and then went to college.
Why I chose UT-Jackson: The residents were impressive and happy as well. The faculty here are great teachers and very approachable. The hospital is very busy and unopposed which allows for lots of experience.
What I want people to know about me: I like getting a game of football (or any sport) together. I am a born and raised Vols fan. I enjoy being involved in the community and my church. I love bluegrass music.

Why I chose UT-Jackson: Well...great program, great people and great educational opportunities. My interview day went rather smoothly and I felt the energy and love of the program emanating from the residents and staff...AND I am closer to my family to boot. :-)

What I chose UT-Jackson: This is a very organized program that is run by some of the best physicians and friendliest staff a student or resident could hope for. It is an unopposed program that is second to none in providing endless learning experiences and is located in a community that is perfect for a laid-back, bargain shopper that loves family, fun and security.
What I want people to know about me: I am a new bride who loves God, her family and friends. I believe that all of my gifts and talents come from God, even though I don't deserve them; so I am obligated and privileged to share them with those I interact with daily.

Why I chose UT-Jackson: It was a great environment, everyone was extremely knowledgable and easy to talk too. They love to teach and everyone seemed to be really happy.
