Why I chose UT-Jackson: The people were genuinely happy here and there is ample opportunity for learning. And it's not Memphis.
Things I want people to know about me: I enjoy a good laugh. I am a fan of UT, the SEC (when they are playing against any non-SEC team, and anyone playing
against USC and Notre Dame.

Why I chose UT-Jackson: After rotating here as a third year medical student, I felt like the learning opportunities and people were a great fit for me.
Things I want people to know about me: I am generally a quiet person, I like to laugh and my favorite color is purple.

What I did before medical school: I was an exercise physiologist/wellness director/personal trainer at a great place in Pigeon Forge, TN
Why I chose UT-Jackson: Most of my family lives in Nashville, so it's important that I get to spend time when I can and this program affords that. Plus, I knew that my chances of having a decent quality of life as a first year resident
were fairly high. I love medicine, but I certainly didn't want to be somewhere where I would lose myself in it.
Things I want people to know about me: Jesus Christ is the lover of my soul and I wouldn't be here without his
blessings and the incredible support of my family. I definitely have more than I deserve and Jackson plays a big role in that!
