Pediatric Urology

The Pediatric Urology Program at The University of Tennessee, Memphis is very active and is one of a handful of programs in the United States accredited to train a Pediatric Urology Fellow. Residents receive two rotations on the pediatric urology service, four months as a junior resident and four months as a senior resident, and have access to several hundred cases per year and several thousand clinic visits. All patients are cared for by a single team which consists of the two attending staff physicians and the two residents. The care is given at two free-standing children's hospitals; LeBonheur Children's Medical Center as the main component and also as consultants at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In addition to this very active clinical environment, scholarly activities and research opportunities are provided ad encouraged, ad residents have been very productive in this regard over the years. The Pediatric Urology program is a stable and very strong component of the Urology Residency Program at The University of Tennessee, Memphis.
